                                                         Rev. Charles ILunga

Born in the Dem. Rep. of Congo, Charles started active ministry in 1996 in Moba Port at the shore of the Tanganyika Lake. Charles and his family were forced to flee in 1998 because of war and found themselves in Zambia before moving to the UK after 8 years as refugees in Mporokoso Mwange Refugee Camp.

Upon arrival in the UK, they were given their first home in Scotland in February 2007, and Charles began the process of transferring from the Katanga Methodist conference (DRC) to the British Methodist Conference. After training at Queen’s Foundation College in Birmingham, Charles was received into full connexion and stationed in his first circuit September 2010.

Charles has pastoral responsibility for Forest Hill and Wesley Hall Methodist Churches.

Rev. Craig Gaffney

Craig and his wife Louise moved to the Blackheath and Crystal Palace circuit with their dog Teddy in 2021. Craig trained at The Queen’s Foundation in Birmingham where he completed his MA in ‘Theology, and Transformative Practice’. He has prior experience of armed forces chaplaincy, serving within the Connexional team as Methodist Youth President, and as a youth worker. Craig’s experiences serving the church, and other religious organisations, have enabled him to minister on five continents.
When not involved in church life, Craig enjoys going to the theatre, watching sport (especially Liverpool FC and Leicester Tigers RFC!), seeking out good food, and exploring new places.
Craig is primarily ministering alongside Burnt Ash, Hither Green, and Sunfields Methodist churches.

Rev. William Davis


William is originally from Ghana and served as Chaplain to the Ghanaian Methodist Fellowship for ten years.

William has pastoral responsibilities for Anerley and Upper Norwood Methodist Churches. He has a passion for Children/Youth work, Mission and Evangelism, Church Growth and allowing the Holy Spirit to use our gifts for the edification of the Church.

William is married to Vashti, and they have four children: William, Margaret, Roosevelt and George.
