Although there has been a Sunfields Methodist Church since 1901, the current Church building was opened on the 27 June 2009. The church has good ecumenical links across the Charlton and Blackheath area. We have a diverse congregation, reflecting the surrounding community; several parts of Africa are represented, as well as Latin America, Asia and the West Indies. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere is guaranteed.
As well as our Sunday services, the church holds a regular coffee/drop–in on Saturdays. The premises are well used during the week, not only by the church, but other community groups including the RIMU Music Nursery, and the local W.I. Sunfields Church is also a collection point for the Greenwich Food Bank.

Age Exchange Sundays at Sunfields. Through over 30 years of experience supporting people in South East London, Age Exchange has often heard how Sunday can be the loneliest day of the week. This group provides a friendly place, helping to alleviate isolation.
All older people are welcome to meet for lunch and light-hearted activities, including reminiscence, art, and music. Group leaders have experience in supporting those who may have extra needs due to health conditions like arthritis, dementia or strokes etc. Carers are also invited. Sunday at Sunfields are provided free, and there is not need to book.
When: Fortnightly on Sundays from 1pm – 4pm
Forthcoming Age Exchange Sundays: 4th February 2018 and fortnightly thereafter
